BMI Calculator, Age Generator & Typing Test

Check your BMI, generate random ages, or test your typing speed — a few handy tools that didn't fit anywhere else.

BMI Calculator, Age Generator & Typing Test

Not everything fits neatly into categories. These two tools are genuinely useful for different reasons, and even though they're unrelated, they deserve to exist and work well.

BMI Calculator

Your doctor asked about your BMI last checkup and you forgot what it actually was. You're curious whether you fall into the normal range, overweight, or obese categories. You'd like to know without having to do the math — height squared, divided into weight, all that stuff.

The BMI calculator does it instantly. Put in your height and weight and it calculates your Body Mass Index. It also tells you which category you fall into so you understand what the number means. BMI isn't perfect — it doesn't account for muscle mass, bone density, or individual variation — but it's a useful baseline number that doctors use.

You can also use it to experiment. "If I lost ten kilograms, where would I fall?" or "What would my BMI be if I gained five kilograms?" The tool updates instantly, so you can see how weight changes affect the number. It's useful for understanding your health data without needing to memorize formulas.

Random Age Generator

You're building a test dataset and you need realistic random ages for your test users. You could just pick numbers, but that'll look artificial. Maybe you need ages that roughly match actual population distribution — more people in the 25-65 range, fewer people very young or very old.

The random age generator gives you ages that look realistic. You can generate one at a time or create a whole batch. It's perfect for database testing, game development, creating dummy datasets, or anywhere else you need ages that aren't obviously random.

It's also useful if you're running a game and need to randomly assign ages to NPCs, or if you're doing creative writing and want some randomness to prevent your characters from all being the same age. It's a tiny tool, but when you need it, it's exactly what you need.

Both tools work in your browser without any server communication. No signup, no tracking, no data leaving your device. Just straightforward utilities that do one thing well.

Typing Speed Test

How fast do you actually type? The typing speed test measures your words per minute and accuracy in real time. A passage appears on screen, you start typing, and it tracks your speed, errors, and accuracy percentage as you go. When you're done, you see your final WPM score.

It's useful for more than just bragging rights. If you're learning to touch-type, you can track improvement over time. If you're applying for a job that requires a minimum typing speed, you can practice and verify you meet the threshold. Or maybe you just want to settle a bet with a colleague about who types faster. Either way, it takes 60 seconds and gives you a definitive answer.
