You weigh 75 kg on Earth. What would you weigh on Mars? On Jupiter? It's a question that comes up in school, at science museums, and in random conversations. The math is simple — multiply your mass by the planet's surface gravity — but having all the planetary data in one place makes it instant.

Side-by-side comparison

The planet comparator lets you pick up to three planets and see their stats lined up: mass, radius, surface gravity, day length, year length, number of moons, and orbital distance. The numbers are real data, not approximations, so you can use them for homework or reference.

Enter your Earth weight and you'll see what you'd weigh on each selected planet. At 75 kg on Earth, you'd weigh about 28.4 kg on Mars (gravity is only 3.72 m/s² compared to Earth's 9.81). On Jupiter, you'd weigh about 189.6 kg — more than twice your Earth weight. It makes the concept of surface gravity tangible.

Surprising comparisons

Some comparisons are counterintuitive. Saturn is massive — 95 times Earth's mass — but its surface gravity is only slightly higher than Earth's because it's also enormous and has low density. Uranus and Neptune have very similar surface gravity despite being quite different in mass and size.

Venus is almost the same size as Earth, but its day is longer than its year (it rotates extremely slowly and retrograde). These are the kind of facts that stand out when you see the data side by side rather than reading about one planet at a time.
